“My guiding philosophy
is the belief that we can make our own best efforts
to live lightly on the earth
and live more gently with each other.”
My background is in Architecture, Education & Design.
My weaving work has been recognised by the American Craft Council; you are assured of the highest quality design and workmanship.
Raw materials are sourced directly from the artisan – for example, sustainably harvested and handspun hemp yarn from a rural village in Thailand – and combine with exquisite silks and other finds from Japan and France.
My guiding philosophy is the belief that we can make our own best efforts to live lightly on the earth and live more gently with each other.
My passion for travelling and creativity are what inspire me to help others as I express and explore life as an artist, weaver and writer.
The element of surprise is an important part of the creative process for me, as is the almost meditative state I find myself in on occasion when I am creating it.
Growing up in Australia I also experienced several months as a teenager living on the island of Taveuni in Fiji, and later a family home on the west coast of Bali, Indonesia. My fascination with all things Island and Archipelago remains to this day.
